The daily maintenance of screw air compressors requires replacing the three filter elements for refueling, so what are the three filter elements? It is air filter, oil filter, oil gas separator, and of course, lubricating oil is a specialized lubricating oil.

The air filter element can basically be seen by the paper density and quality of the filter element, which can be seen with the naked eye. If the quality is not good, it will cause a large amount of impurities and dust to run into the interior of the screw compressor, which is easy to block the oil separation core and cause high internal pressure, causing the safety valve to open and spray oil.

Oil filter

The quality of the oil filter is difficult to identify, and it is mainly judged by the time it is used. If there is no early warning of blockage or low oil pressure or high exhaust temperature at the specified time, most of these reasons are caused by the blockage of the oil filter. If the quality of the oil filter is not good, it is easy to cause faults in the maintenance of the air compressor.

Oil gas separator

The oil gas separator is also the most expensive consumable among the four types. The reason why it is expensive is because of its high cost. The quality of the imported oil gas separator is relatively good, and its pressure difference ratio and oil filtration are very good. Generally, replacing the imported oil gas separator basically ensures that there will be no oil separation core failure.

Special lubricating oil for air compressors (note: different brands of air compressors have different lubricating oils)

Screw air compressor oil is the lifeblood of the air compressor, and without good oil, the air compressor cannot operate. We all know that air compressor manufacturers do not produce screw air compressor oil. Screw air compressor oil is basically a type of petroleum, with 8000 hours of synthetic oil, 4000 hours of semi synthetic oil, and 2000 hours of mineral oil being three common grades. Choosing a good synthetic oil is important for air compressors.
