The intake valve of an air compressor can also be said to be a combination valve for intake control, which has functions such as intake control, loading and unloading control, capacity adjustment control, unloading, and preventing fuel injection during unloading or shutdown. Now let's learn about the working principle of the intake valve of the screw air compressor, the reasons why the intake valve cannot be opened, and the solutions.

Working principle of intake valve of screw air compressor

A general rule for the intake valve of a screw air compressor is: the intake valve is loaded when powered on, and unloaded when powered off.

Sometimes our equipment experiences a slight increase in current during unloading (with a current of 31A at 22KW), and it is suspected that the intake valve is not tightly closed because when there is no gas in use, the pressure will slowly rise after the machine is unloaded, and sometimes a high voltage alarm will be triggered to shut down! Moreover, after shutdown, there is still some residual pressure inside the machine that cannot be released (around 6 kilograms), resulting in the host being overloaded when starting again.
